Janice Davidson is a clinical research nurse in the Edinburgh Transplant Centre at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, where she has worked since 1992 (known at the time as the Scottish Liver Transplant Unit). “After all these years, I know the rest of the unit very well, and we find a way to work around each other’s quirks,” Janice, who was diagnosed with MS in 1998, says with a smile. “The team is great and very accommodating – I’ve never had any problems, and I can do my job just fine.”
