A couple are celebrating after beating massive odds of one in 700,000 to give birth to FOUR beautiful baby boys. Arlene and John Mitchell, from Longridge in West Lothian, have welcomed a rare set of quadruplets into the world - making them the first naturally conceived quads ever born in Lothian.

Chief Executive, Calum Campbell Retires
Calum Campbell, Chief Executive of NHS Lothian retires today after 40 years’ service to the NHS. Calum began his career as a nurse and then Health Visitor before going on to senior leadership roles in Wales and Scotland, serving as Chief Executive at NHS Borders and NHS Lanarkshire before joining NHS Lothian in 2020.
