Health and social care workers across NHS Lothian are being honoured for their outstanding response to the pandemic and their exceptional service to the people of Lothian and beyond. As part of NHS Lothian’s commemorative plans, a full length documentary has been produced which tells how NHS Lothian staff mounted an extraordinary response to the unprecedented challenge of COVID-19.

While the film cannot do justice to the work of every team or service it highlights the outstanding commitment shown by all of our staff. It forms part of NHS Lothian’s commemorative plans, which are supported by the Edinburgh & Lothian Health Foundation. The film is available on our YouTube channel, which you can watch at your convenience.

You can also watch a short 6 minute film which was produced last year to capture just some of our experiences during the pandemic. It is set to a song that was specially commissioned for NHS staff and provides a preview of a full length documentary which will be launched shortly.
